SRP Seeks Feedback on Updates to 2035 Sustainability Goals

SRP invites its customers and community members to learn about and provide input on proposed changes to its 2035 Sustainability Goals at one of three open house events.

In 2019, SRP’s Board of Directors approved the utility’s ambitious set of 2035 Sustainability Goals. The goals were established through a comprehensive stakeholder engagement process to address carbon emissions reductions, water resiliency, grid enablement, supply chain management, waste reduction and customer and community engagement.

SRP has committed to evaluating and updating the 2035 Sustainability Goals every five years to ensure the goals continue to reflect the evolving needs of the customers and communities it serves. As part of this process, the company recently convened a broad range of stakeholders, including local municipalities, businesses, environmental organizations, limited income advocates and others to determine if any updates are needed to ensure the goals reflect SRP’s commitment to provide reliable, affordable and sustainable power and water.
