SRP Offers Free Electrical Safety Workshop for Contractors on Saturday, April 22

WHAT:

SRP invites landscapers, building painters, tree trimmers, crane operators, framers, roofers and other contract professionals to learn how to work safely around overhead and underground power lines at its free 2023 Electric Safety Workshop.  

SRP safety experts will offer live demonstrations and information in both English and Spanish on the following topics:  

  • Chainsaw Safety  
  • Asplundh Rigging and Tree Safety 
  • Trench and Underground Safety 
  • Hazard Recognition 
  • Powerline Safety 

Participants will be able to earn a certificate of completion following an onsite evaluation. Breakfast will be provided.

SRP has been providing its Electrical Safety Workshop for more than 30 years to keep safety top of mind for workers who run the risk of electrocution if their bodies or any portion of their equipment comes within 10 feet of a powerline.
