SRP Offers Energy-Efficiency Rebates to Support Year-Round Savings
Salt River Project (SRP) offers customers rebates on energy efficient upgrades that can make their homes more comfortable and reduce energy use year-round. Customers can also benefit from federal tax credits for qualifying energy-efficient upgrades before the year ends, providing an extra opportunity to reduce costs.
Available SRP rebates include:
- Insulation – Properly installed insulation helps keep homes cool in the summer and warm in the winter. SRP customers can save up to 75% on professionally installed insulation, with rebates up to $600. Find a qualified contractor at srp.net/insulation.
- Duct Test and Repair – About 20% of the air moving through a duct system is lost because of improper installation. SRP’s Duct Test and Repair Rebate helps customers identify where energy is escaping. The program covers 75% of repair costs or up to $400 for duct testing and qualified repairs.
- Heat Pump Water Heater – Water heaters use about 20% of a home’s energy. An Energy Star heat pump water heater is up to four times more efficient and uses 70% less energy than a standard model. SRP customers can receive a $500 rebate when installing an Energy Star heat pump water heater. Learn more at srp.net/heatpump.
- Shade Screen Rebates – About 50% of the heat entering homes comes through windows. Shade screens are an affordable and effective energy-efficiency upgrade. SRP customers can get $1 per square foot on professionally installed or do-it-yourself shade screens and window film. Visit srp.net/shade for details.
- New Energy Efficient Windows – Upgrading to energy-efficient windows can significantly reduce heat gain and improve comfort. SRP offers rebates of up to $75 per window when replacing with qualifying Energy
Star models. Learn more at srp.net/windows.
