SRP Giving Away Energy-Saving Prizes all Summer

Customers will Win Smart Thermostats and LED Lightbulbs

WHAT:
SRP wants to help its customers learn how to save on energy bills by giving away 1,500 LED lightbulbs and 100 smart thermostats this summer. Customers who enter the “Summer of Savings” campaign – either online or in person – will also be eligible to win a grand prize ENERGY STAR® appliance package valued at $5,000, which includes a Whirlpool front-loading washing machine and dryer, a Frigidaire dishwasher and a 55 inch 4K LG TV, including free installation courtesy of Mesa TV & Appliance.

Ways to win:
LED bulbs, smart thermostats and entry codes for the grand prize will be given away at SRP events, which can be found at srpnet.com/summer-savings.
Get energy efficiency-tips and join the online scavenger hunt by finding hidden entry codes at savewithsrp.com.
LED bulbs and smart thermostat winners will be announced weekly.
The more entry codes customers earn, the more chances they have to win.

WHEN:
The Sumer of Savings program runs through Sept. 23.The grand prize winner will be selected at random on Sept. 30.

During the summer months, air conditioners can account for 50 percent or more of a customer’s total utility bill. Smart thermostats increase an A/C unit’s efficiency. LED bulbs use five times less energy and last up to 15 times longer than traditional incandescents. By switching five most-used bulbs in a home, customers can save up to $75 per year.
