Leaders from SRP, Ørsted and Pinal County Celebrate Completion of 300-MW Eleven Mile Solar System

WHAT: Salt River Project (SRP), Ørsted and leaders from Pinal County are hosting a ribbon-cutting event for the Eleven Mile Solar System. This facility will add 300 megawatts (MW) of solar and a 300MW/1200 megawatt hours (MWh) battery energy storage system (BESS) to the grid. Located in Pinal County, Eleven Mile is SRP’s largest co-located solar and BESS project.

• Eleven Mile Solar System will add 300 MW of renewable energy to SRP’s grid—enough to power 67,500 homes.

• The facility will generate more than $80 million for the local community and public services in the form of tax revenue.
