For the Second Consecutive Year, Business Customers Rank SRP Highest Among Large Western Utilities

2022 J.D. Power Customer Satisfaction Study Released

Salt River Project employees succeeded again in ranking highest in customer satisfaction for business electric service among all electricity providers in the nation, according to a recent study issued by J.D. Power. This is the second year in a row SRP ranked first among large electricity providers in the West Region and the eighth time in the last 10 years.

According to the 2022 Electric Utility Business Customer Satisfaction Study, issued by J.D. Power, business electric customers gave SRP a Customer Satisfaction score of 828 on a 1,000-point scale.

SRP scored highest among large electric providers in the West in all six customer satisfaction factors: Power Quality and Reliability, Price, Billing and Payment, Corporate Citizenship, Communications and Customer Service.

The average score in 2022 in the West Large Utility region is 760, which covers utilities in Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming.

SRP’s top ranking in the West Large region in the 2022 J.D. Power business study marks its 50th award in the 24 years that J.D. Power has surveyed SRP’s residential and business customers.

The 2022 Electric Utility Business Customer Satisfaction Study is based on responses from 18,694 online interviews conducted by J.D. Power from February through October 2022 among business customers of 78 electric utility brands across the nation.
