Elementary School Students and SRP Employees Spread Holiday Joy by Stuffing a School Bus with Toys

WHAT:

Salt River Project (SRP) employee volunteers are bringing holiday joy to children in need for the 29th consecutive year.

On Friday, December 6, students from Western Valley Elementary School in Phoenix will arrive at SRP on a school bus for the Annual SRP Adopt-an-Angel holiday toy drive. Students will spread holiday cheer by singing festive carols then enjoy cookies and hot cocoa. Afterwards, the students and employees will fill the bus with wrapped gifts donated by SRP employees that will later be distributed to over 120 students in the Fowler Unified School District. 

Last year, SRP employees donated over 1,000 toys and gifts to those in need through multiple community partners.
